Biography: With a passion for fostering innovative growth and development, Shandon Richardson has dedicated over a decade to empowering individuals at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). As the Career Development Program Administrator (CDPA) at TxDOT, Shandon plays a pivotal role in guiding employees towards their career aspirations. By aligning them with optimal educational and developmental opportunities, she helps them discover their true potential by figuring out who and what they want to be when they grow up!
Throughout her tenure at TxDOT, Shandon has successfully launched several initiatives that have significantly improved employee engagement and career progression.
Shandon specializes in designing and facilitating engaging training solutions, effective long-term project and program management, fostering employee growth and development, and providing leaders with coaching and engagement tools to create cross-collaborative teams. She holds multiple facilitator certifications, including Certified Professional in Training
Management and Master Certified Professional Coach. Shandon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Bellevue University and a Master of Science in Organization, Learning, and Technologies from Texas A&M University Commerce.
Outside of her professional life, Shandon enjoys exploring new culinary experiences, making jewelry, and spending time with her family. Her commitment to personal growth mirrors her dedication to helping others achieve their career goals.
